A new section where photography and visual art meet cinema: a widespread exhibition, a series of screenings and a masterclass with a guest artist, to bring another way of looking at images to the Lido.
A dialogue between photography, art and cinema
Take Another Little Piece of My Art was born as a space of conversation between languages. Photography and visual art engage with cinema through an exhibition, a few selected screenings and a close encounter with those who build images. The title plays with the famous song and turns its meaning around: here we do not ask for a piece of a heart, but for a fragment of a gaze, to take away, to cherish, to give back.
Every edition hosts an artist invited to bring their own work and their own vision inside the festival. The exhibition takes you into their world; the screenings reveal how their eye meets the movement of cinema; the masterclass offers the chance to listen to them up close. A small extra piece of art, each year, inside the Lagoon of Isola Edipo.
